Midwest Tornado Disaster

So I had to find out from CNN.com that Springfield, IL (where my brother lives) got hit by crazy tornados yesterday and today. Why my family doesn't think to call me about this stuff, I have no idea. I briefly got ahold of my Mom like 10 minutes ago, but the wind was so crazy that she couldn't talk long on her cell (which she can only use outside her work, like me). She said my brother and his house are ok, and Petersburg (where rest of family lives...only 20 minutes away from Springfield) wasn't hit. Most of my family works in Springfield though, and a lot of places are without power. They completely shut down a major interstate (I-72) through the city, so that is causing traffic jams. The local Walmart is without a roof, and is missing 5 car-sized air-conditioners!? My Mom's main office where she works is without power, or windows for that matter, so her boss being the inconsiderate jerk that he is, is making her go in to work anyways and sit in the dark and answer phones! WTF!? My Mom is such a pushover sometimes, because she actually did that all morning. She actually sat in the dark and answered the phone. Weirdo.
